At just 15 years old, Ty Olson has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in grassroots dirt racing. Based in North Dakota, Ty competes in INEX Legends and IMCA A-Mods and has rapidly gained attention for his natural ability, discipline, and commitment to racing at a high level. Introduced to the sport at a young age through time spent at the racetrack with his parents, Ty developed a passion for competition early. What began as a young driver learning the basics quickly turned into a pursuit of excellence fueled by relentless seat time, focused preparation, and a deep love for racing.

Ty’s rise has been defined by a fearless yet composed driving style that consistently places him among the front runners, even when competing against drivers two and three times his age. In his rookie season in the Young Lions division, he captured the 2023 INEX Young Lions Dirt National Championship, a milestone that quickly put him on the radar of competitors and fans across the country. Since then, Ty has built one of the most demanding racing schedules in the sport for a young driver, competing in more than 170 races across the 2023 through 2025 seasons. During that time he earned 65 wins and nearly 100 podium finishes while racing against some of the toughest competition in Legends racing.

Ty’s program emphasizes preparation, performance development, and strong character. His faith and the support of the people around him play an important role in his approach to racing and competition. With ongoing performance support and preparation assistance from Redline Motorsports and encouragement from mentors and supporters who believe in his potential, Ty continues to sharpen his craft and raise the level of his performance each season.

With multiple championships already to his name, including the 2025 INEX Semi-Pro Dirt National Championship, the North Dakota Dirt State Championship, the Iowa Dirt Nationals Championship, and the Dirt Nationals Bassett Wheel Challenge title, Ty Olson continues to establish himself as one of the most promising young drivers in the sport. Known for his determination, aggressive racecraft, and ability to perform under pressure, Ty approaches every race with a focus on improvement and competing at the highest level.
